Fire-Rescue. Colleton County Fire-Rescue is one of South Carolina's
only county-wide Fire-Based All Hazards Departments. Located on the
Atlantic Coast, Fire-Rescue provides all non-law enforcement emergency
services for 1,054 square miles of the unincorporated rural community of
Colleton County and four of the six municipalities and is the sole
county-wide 9-1-1 Advanced Life Support Provider.

Basic Requirements:
- S.C. Fire Academy Course 1152, IFSAC
Firefighter I (or ability to obtain within one year of hire),
Firefighter II preferred or equivalent
- NREMT or S.C. State Paramedic
Certification
- Good Driving History
- Clear Criminal Record
- Clear Physical Examination
- Pre-employment drug testing
