Incident # 26-03658 - An adult was seriously injured in a single car MVC on Green Pond Hwy. (SC Hwy 303) near Cyrus Lane Thursday morning 30-April at 05:15. The driver advised they swerved to avoid a deer causing the SUV to flip over. Bystanders indicated the person was ejected from the car which received heavy damage. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the patient at the scene then transported emergent to the CARE Flight base in Walterboro. The patient was transferred to the Flight Crew and flown to the Trauma Center at HCA Trident Hospital in North Charleston. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
