27/January/2026 - Structure Fire - "A" Shift


Incident # 26-00710 - A Roadside Community man has been displaced after his home was heavily damaged in an early morning fire Tuesday 27-Jan at 00:13. First arriving fire units in the 100 block of Roadside Drive, found the single wide mobile home approx. 50% involved. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed three hand lines to the building and made entry through the front door. They had the bulk of the fire knocked down in about 15 minutes, saving about 25% of the building and some personal items. The remaining structure suffered water, heat and smoke damage. The occupant was not injured. Responders were on the scene for three hours in freezing temperatures. Water supply was conducted using Tenders. The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature. 


Engine 8, Engine 13, Tender 1, Tender 8, Tender 13, Tender 27, Medic 1, Medic 13 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Scott O'Quinn served as Incident Commander.
