19/January/2026 - Residential Camper Fire - "B" Shift


Incident # 26-00513 - A Cottageville family of four are displaced following a morning fire at their residence Monday 19-January. At 11:35, 9-1-1 Operators received two reports of the fire advising a camper was fully involved at the location. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived to find the camper, that had a addition added to it, well involved. The camper was used as a residence. Crews, deployed two hand lines to the fire, first protecting and cooling several LP tanks and a nearby enclosed trailer. They then worked on the remains of the camper. The fire had consumed most of the two buildings. The nearby trailer suffered some external fire damage. No injuries were reported during the incident. Fire units were on the scene for two and half hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 


Engine 9, Engine 19, Tender 9, Tender 19, Medic 9, Medic 19 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
