18/November/2025 - Shooting Incident - "C" Shift


Incident # 25-09219 - Three people were shot at a residence in the 100 block of Margaret Street in Walterboro, Tuesday evening 18-November at 20:24. All three victims were inside the residence when assailants began shooting the home from the exterior. Multiple rounds struck the building and the people inside. Walterboro Police Officers arrived quickly and applied tourniquets to one victim to control his bleeding. As more information related to the number of victims was gathered by 9-1-1 operators, two additional Fire-Rescue Ambulances were assigned to the incident. Firefighter-Paramedics treated all three patients at the scene. A medical helicopter was placed on standby. One victim was transported to the CARE Flight base, then flown to the Trauma Center at HCA Trident Hospital in North Charleston. The other two injured men were transported to the ED at HCA Colleton Hospital in Walterboro. Walterboro Police Officers are investigating the incident. The Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene. 


Medic 1, Medic 9, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 105, Car 111 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
