Incident # 25-07722 An adult female suffered critical, multi-trauma injuries in a single car MVC in the 6100 block of Combahee Road Wednesday morning 01-October at 10:24. A passerby reported the accident on the remote rural secondary road. The small sedan left the roadway and struck a tree at a high rate of speed. The driver was unrestrained. Firefighter-Paramedics found the woman unresponsive with multiple traumatic injuires. She was treated at the scene then transported to a nearby field by Fire-Rescue Medic 13, to meet with the CARE Flight helicopter. She was flown to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
Engine 13, Medic 13, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Captain KC Campbell served as Incident Commander.
