Incident # 25-05316 - Law Enforcement Officers are investigating a shooting incident that injured a 14 year old male juvenile in the 200 block of Sniders Hwy., behind Colleton Heights Apartments at 02:37 Sunday morning 06-July. A reported domestic incident escalated with a person discharging a firearm. A round struck the child in the hand. He was treated at the scene for a non-life threatening injury. Fire-Rescue transported the patient to HCA Colleton Hospital in Walterboro.
Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 105 responded. Capt. Alex Koontz served as Incident Commander.
