Incident # 25-04129 - An adult male was shot in both legs during an incident in the 800 block of Brittlebank Road Saturday morning 24-May at 00:25. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene and requested a medical helicopter. C.A.R.E. Flight was returning to Walterboro from another response and met Fire-Rescue Medic 26 at the National Guard Armory, where they landed in the parking lot. The patient was transferred to the Flightcrew, then flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting.
Engine 19, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 111 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
