Incident 24-00843 - A family of seven was displaced following an early morning fire in a mobile home in the 800 block of Norris Drive Thursday 01-February at 06:00. A family member found a back bedroom on fire and safely exited the home with five children. Engine 18 arrived a short time later to find fire and smoke visible from the residence. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed two handlines to the building and made entry through the front door. Water supply was conducted with Tenders. Crews took about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control and were on the scene performing overhaul for 2-1/2 hours. The fire appears to have started from a space heater in a restroom.
