03/October/2023 - Structure Fire - "C" Shift

Incident # 23-07481 - A Rum Gully family of three were displaced after a fire damaged their residence at 4004 Adnah Church Road Tuesday afternoon 03-October. At 15:41, 9-1-1 was notified of a fire inside the home. The occupants and their pets were able to safely exit the burning home. Engine 15 arrived minutes later to find heavy smoke coming from the singlewide mobile home. Firefighters deployed two handlines and made entry through the front door. They found heavy fire conditions in a bedroom and quickly brought the fire under control. The fire was contained to the bedroom and most personal belongings were saved. The home suffered substantial fire, smoke and water damage. The fire originated in the breaker box, which was located in a closet in the master bedroom. It spread to the bedroom, behind the kitchen wall and into the attic space. The family advised they had been experiencing electrical problems for several days. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
