21/September/2023 - High Speed MVC - "C" Shift

Incident # 23-07193 - Two people were injured following an overturned vehicle crash on I-95 near the 49 mile marker southbound. The SUV, which was towing a camper, lost control and struck a guardrail. The SUV and the camper both overturned and received substantial damage. The two restrained adult occupants received non-life threatening injuries. Both were treated at the scene by Fire-Rescue, then transported to Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro by Fire-Rescue Medic 1. One lane of I-95 was blocked for over three hours until the vehicles could be removed. The accident is being investigated by the SC Highway Patrol.
