22-08410 - A Charleston man was shot with buckshot in a reported accidental hunting accident Saturday morning 29-October. 9-1-1 was notified of the incident at 10:20. The man and several other hunters met with Responders at the intersection of Wiggins Road and Grain Bin Road near Chehaw Landing. The man received what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury. He was treated at the scene, then transported by Fire-Rescue Medic 6 to the Trauma Center at MUSC. The SC DNR is investigating the incident.
Medic 6, Battalion 1, Car 107 and Car 112 responded. Asst. Chief Marty Stallings served as Incident Commander.
