11/September/2022 - Structure Fire - "B" Shift

Incident # 22-07074 - Fire-Rescue responded to a well involved residential fire at 01:31 Sunday morning 11-Sept. A neighbor called 9-1-1 reporting the home was on fire. Engine 9 arrived minutes later to find the doublewide mobile home already destroyed. The home had been burning undetected for some time. Only some stubs remained standing. All of the walls and the roof had already collapsed. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed multiple handlines to the building and worked on overhauling the remains of the building for about two hours. The homeowner advised the home was being renovated and he had left the building about an hour before. No injuries were reported. The residence was located near the end of the single lane dirt road. Water supply was handled with Tenders. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

Engine 9, Engine 19, Tender 2, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 36, Medic 9, Medic 19, Brush 2, Battalion 1, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
