The 11th Annual Emergency Services Softball Tournament was held on Saturday 16-April-2022 at the Colleton County Recreation Center. Six teams participated this year for the tournament which is open to emergency service and military personnel. The departments participating this year were, North Charleston Fire Dept., North Charleston Police Dept. (MoJos), Hardeeville Fire/Police Dept, Dorchester County Fire-Rescue, MCAS Beaufort (NBK) and Colleton County Fire-Rescue. MCAS Beaufort took First Place and North Charleston Police took Second Place. The teams played through several rain storms during the day and were finished in later afternoon. The tournament raised approx. $1,400. All funds generated are split between the Carolina Children’s Charity and the MUSC Burned Children’s Fund.
