Incident # 21-08510 - An adult male was fatally injured in a shooting incident in the parking lot of the Little Caesars Pizza Restaurant, located at 1324 North Jefferies Blvd, Saturday afternoon 27-November at 15:51. A caller to 9-1-1 reported the man was down in the parking lot. A courageous off duty nurse was at the location, ran to the victim and began administering aid. Fire-Rescue, City and County Law Enforcement arrived minutes later. Firefighter-Paramedics found the man non-responsive with no signs of life. The Coroner's Office was notified and responded to the scene. Both northbound lanes of N.Jefferies Blvd were blocked for 1-1/2 hours. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 19, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Captain Brian Rowe served as Incident Commander.
