01/October/2020 – Structure Fire – “C” Shift

Incident # 20-06682 – A residential dwelling at 215 Brocktown Road was destroyed in an early morning fire Thursday 01-October. The fire was reported at 05:07. Engine 9 arrived a short time later to find the single story brick veneer structure fully involved. Firefighters deployed multiple handlines and used a deck gun to knock down the fire. Crews were on the scene for three hours performing overhaul. The home was not occupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Engine 9, Engine 34, Tender 9, Tender 11, Tender 19, Tender 27, Tender 32, Tender 36, Medic 9, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Scott Feather served as Incident Commander.
