21/June/2020 – Structure Fire – “A” Shift

Incident # 20-4089 – A singlewide mobile home received damage after an electrical fire spread to the wall, carpet, curtains and nearby furniture in the home Sunday afternoon 21-June. At 15:23, Fire-Rescue responded to the incident. The occupant was awakened to smoke in the residence and found the items burning. They threw out most of the burning items and pushed a window a/c unit out of the home preventing more damage. Everyone exited the home and no one was injured. Firefighters-Paramedics deployed one handline and doused the remaining flames. Crews pulled the sheet rock off of one wall and pulled up the caret to check for fire extension. The home suffered smoke damage and most personal items were saved. The Red Cross is assisting the family.

Engine 7, Engine 18, Tender 7, Tender 18. Medic 7, Medic 18 and Battalion 1 responded. Other units were canceled. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
