09-June-2020 – Structure Fire – “C” Shift

Incident # 20-03782 – A 20 x 12 picnic shed was heavily damaged in an early morning fire in the 11500 block of Augusta Hwy (SC Hwy 61) Tuesday morning 09-June at 04:03. Initial reports indicated the home was on fire, however first arriving units found the fire was isolated to the picnic shed, located about 20 feet from the home. The residence was not damaged. Firefighters used two handlines to douse the flames. The fire was quickly brought under control. It appeared the fire started in the area of a refrigerator located inside the building, then spread to the walls and roof.

Engine 5, Engine 26, Tender 5, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 27, Medic 7, Medic 26 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
