|  | 08/May/2020 – MVC with Entrapment – “B” Shift Incident # 20-03047 – Two people were injured and one 
	driver was trapped in a three car MVC at the intersection of Bells Hwy. (SC 
	Hwy 64) and Doctors Creek Road Friday afternoon 08-May at 12:50. A west 
	bound vehicle struck the rear of a Chevrolet Corsica also traveling west 
	bound, pushing it head-on into a Nissan Rogue SUV turning onto Bells Hwy. 
	The female driver of the Rogue received non-life threatening injuries. The 
	driver of the Corsica was trapped in his vehicle and received multiple, 
	non-life threatening traumatic injuries. The driver of the Impala was not 
	injured. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the patients at the scene and during 
	the extrication. Crews used Holmatro hydraulic rescue tools to remove the 
	driver’s side doors and “B” post to safely extricate the man. He and the 
	female driver of the Rogue were transported to Colleton Medical Center by 
	Fire-Rescue. Traffic on Bells Hwy was detoured onto Doctors Creek Road for 
	an hour until the damaged vehicles could be removed from the scene. The SC 
	Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.  Engine 26, Rescue 1, Medic 1, Medic 26, Battalion 1, 
	Car 101, Car 104, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Scott 
	Feather served as Incident Commander.  |
