11/June/2016 – Stabbing Incident – “C” Shift

Incident # 16-03628 – Walterboro Police Officer’s responding to an altercation report at 1002 Carn Street found a 30 year old male stabbed twice and a second man with a hand injury. The incident was reported at 20:15, Saturday evening 11-June. The 30 year old patient was treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics for two non-life threatening stab wounds to the upper leg. He was transported by Fire-Rescue Medic 1 to Colleton Medical Center. The second patient, a 56 year old man received a significant hand injury and a head injury after he was struck with a walking cane several times. He was transported by Medic 19 to CMC. Walterboro Police are investigating the incident.

Medic 1, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 12 responded. Battalion Chief Ben Heape served as Incident Commander.
