04/April/2015 – Structure Fire – “B” Shift

Incident # 15-01828 – A small outdoor storage building was destroyed in an afternoon fire at 359 Monticello Lane west of Cottageville Saturday afternoon 04-April. At 16:40 Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire at the location. Engine 9 arrived to find a small outdoor storage building fully involved.  Most of the building had already collapsed. Firefighters deployed one 1-3/4 handline to extinguish the remaining fire and to perform overhaul. Units were on the scene for one hour.

Engine 9, Engine 34, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 34, Medic 9 and Battalion 1 responded. Lt. Jimmy Jacques served as Incident Commander.
