01/April/2015 – Structure Fire – “A” Shift

Incident # 15-01769 – A doublewide mobile home was destroyed at 347 Gobbler Circle Wednesday morning 01-April at 00:28. The home was the site of a previous fire on 06-March where firefighters saved the home, containing the fire to one room and a portion of the attic space. Engine 6 arrived to find the dwelling fully involved. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed multiple handlines to combat the fire and had it under control in less than thirty minutes, but were on the scene for several hours performing overhaul. The cause of the fire is suspicious and remains under investigation. There was no power to the structure.

Engine 6, Engine 13, Tender 2, Tender 6, Tender 13, Medic 6, Medic 13 and Battalion 1 responded. Firefighter-EMT Robert McAlhaney served as Incident Commander.
