Stations 1, 19, 24 and 26 responded to a structure fire at 1691 Sidneys Road Christmas evening 25-December at 2027. Engine # 19 arrived 4 minutes after the initial 9-1-1 call to find light smoke coming from the single story wood frame structure and flames visible from the rear of the building. A Deputy was wheeling a wheel chair bound man out of the house when they arrived. Crews deployed one 1-3/4 handline through the front the door and found the fire in a utility room which had been added on to the rear of the house. The fire was quickly brought under control and all fire damage was contained to the utility room. The fire originated in an exterior light fixture, spreading to the wooden wall and door. No one was injured during the incident and the man was able to remain in the house following the incident.

Engine 19, Engine 24, Tender 1, Tender 19, Tender 26, Medic 1, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 12 responded. Captain Scott Feather (Acting Battalion Chief) served as Incident Commander.
