“A” Shift – Structure Fire

Incident # 10-06521 – A vacant home was destroyed by fire in the Jacksonboro Community Thursday evening, 2-December at 18:26. A passerby reported to 9-1-1 Operators that the building had burned and was almost burned out. The home is located on a small dirt road in an isolated area. Engine 2 arrived to find the one story block building completely destroyed. The majority of the fire had already consumed the combustibles in the building and the roof had collapsed. Fire Fighters deployed one handline to extinguish the remaining fire and cool the debris. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Engine 2, Engine 6, Tender 2, Tender 6, Tender 12, Medic 6, Battalion 1 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Marty Stallings served as Incident Commander.
