Run # 10-04494 - Stations 9 and 19 responded to a double shooting incident at 261 Griffith Acres Drive in the Town of Cottageville Saturday afternoon, 14-August at 4:41 PM. 9-1-1 Dispatchers advised the victims were driven to this location which was not where the incident occurred. Engine 9 and Medic 9 arrived to advise of two critically injured patients. They were performing CPR on a 22 year old female and requested a second Medic Unit for a male patient with multiple wounds to the neck and head. A medical helicopter was also requested. Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 11 and Car 12 responded to assist with the injured. Both patients were treated at the scene. The female patient who remained in cardiac arrest was transported to Colleton Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
