Stations 1, 19 and 27 responded to a man trapped under a corn header (implement attached to a Combine) at 1055 Brittlebank Road at 1535, Thursday 05-March. The man suffered a crushing hand injury, but was extricated by a co-worker using a tractor prior to the arrival of Fire-Rescue. He was treated at the scene, which included medications for pain, then transported to Colleton Medical Center by Medic 27.

Engine 19, Rescue 1, Medic 27 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
