Colleton County Fire-Rescue


Stations 1, 6, 8, and 13 responded to a vehicle fire at 562 Roadside Drive at 16:27, Monday 25-January. The caller advised the vehicle was fully involved and had spread to her residence while units were still enroute.  The call was upgraded to a structure fire and a full structural assignment was dispatched.  Engine 8 was the first to arrive and found the vehicle fully involved with extension to an overhead power line and tree. Using an 1-3/4" attack line, the fire was quickly confined to the vehicle.  Additional responding units were cancelled.  There was no damage to the nearby structure and there were no injuries.

Engine 8, Tender 8, Tender 13, Tender 1, Battalion 1, Medic 6, Tender 6, and Truck 111 responded.  Engineer/EMT-Intermediate Scottie O'Quinn served as Incident Commander.
