Thank you for all the hard work you do in training and certification. All of your preparation makes a difference in peoples lives everyday. I know because you have made a difference for me. This past week you extricated my cousin Tony from his motorhome. I know it was no small feat! All the extrication training could hardly prepare you for what you were about to see when you drove to the site that day!

Tony is my cousin, but we often call each other brother & sister since he is an only child and doesn't have a sister. We have spent many wonderful summers together as teenagers and now our kids spend vacation time together. He is a dear, dear person to me and because of your great job in caring for him during a most frightening experience, and our God in heaven's mercy, I hope to spend many more moments around the campfire with Tony.

Thanks for all you do! You are an exceptional example of humankind! God bless each of you!

Thanks for the effort everyone in your department put forth Thursday afternoon to free 3 of my friends from a motor coach on I-95.

It's nothing short of a miracle that we sat together and shared a laugh this evening. You all played a major part in making that happen. You will hear from my friends soon and they are very thankful they had your help as well.

Best wishes,

My name is Donald E Belin and I would like to take this time to thank NREMT Allison & NREMT O'Quinn for their care and compassion. While on vacation with my family at Edisto Island my L5-S1 disc ruptured and I was in sever pain. My wife call 911 and the two EMT'S above responded to the call and took good care of my wife and I. The concern and compassion that they showed towards my wife and I meant the world to me. Again I want to thank them for everything. I am now back in North Carolina recovering from surgery.THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You care and compassion will never be forgotten.

To all who were at my accident at Robertson and Jefferies. I would like to say thank you for all you did. I spoke with Battalion Chief Sheffield earlier to report in all is well. Other than some road rash and some bumps and scraps Im fine. I thank Medic 27 and there crew for a quick response as well as others who came. You dont ever know how much it means when we go to the aid of someone in need untill that someone is you. Its amazing the brotherhood that Fire Departments have. All the visiting of fellow workers and phone calls of concern. Thank you all, This incident really makes me proud to be a part of such a awesome system. God Bless and Thank you. FF/EMT-B Pinckney

To everyone who helped rescue my little sister from the Lancer that went under the flatbed on 5/29..... THANK YOU! To everyone who works in this field who wasn't there that night..... THANK YOU! The work that you do is so incredibly hard to imagine, I thank god for you all, every day. Your diligent and careful work resulted in minimal damage to her, and she will be walking and writing again one day. You all are the best in my book!

As an EMTB myself, my mother who is a nurse at Colleton Medical Center, my sister who is a dispatcher with Colleton County and my brother in law who works at the jail, we sincerely appreciate everyone who was involved in any aspect. Thank you again for all you do for everyone. We hope that everyone in the other vehicle makes a quick and safe recovery as well. We are praying for everyone's speedy recovery.

Seven years later, we give thanks that there are men and women who are willing to sacrifice their lives to keep us safe and who are willing to lay down their life for ours.  Their jobs are not 9 to 5: their jobs are 24/7.  They leave a child's birthday party, they leave their warm beds on a cold night, they go into places where we would flee in order to pull us from a burning inferno or to pull us from a tangled wreck. Thank you the men and women of Colleton County Fire Rescue for the excellent, unselfish work you do for all of us. You are true heroes. May you all always come home safely at the end of each of your shifts.

The Colleton County Fire-Rescue Web Page is as professional as the members of CCFR. Our county is fortunate to have such a strong organization in place to protect its citizens. I found the information contained herein to be both interesting and informative. Hopefully, the teachers of Colleton County will encourage their students to access this site this year.
