Incident # 23-06564 - Fire-Rescue responded to 49 Heavy Feather Ln for the third time in as many months for a structure fire. The incident occurred on Monday morning 30-August at 01:28. A neighbor on an adjacent street reported seeing the building ablaze. Engine 9 arrived to find the single wide mobile home fully involved. A portion of the mobile home had burned on 13-July causing heavy damage to the residence. It was vacant at the time and the building had no power in July or during this response. Firefighters deployed multiple hand lines to the building and conducted a Tender shuttle for water supply. No injuries were reported . The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Engine 9, Engine 36, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 36, Medic 9, Medic 19 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
