10/November/2017 – Shooting Incident – “C” Shift

Incident # 17-07769 – A 20 year old male received two gunshot wounds in an incident at 426 Savage Street Friday morning 10-November. At 01:23 unknown subjects fired multiple rounds into the home striking the man in the leg and shoulder. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the patient at the scene, then transported him emergent to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in Medic 19 with additional personnel on board to assist with patient care. Fire-Rescue crews used a gas detector to inspect the home, due a gas line being damaged by a bullet. Walterboro Police Officers are investigating the shooting.

 

Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Captain Matt Parler served as Incident Commander.
