08/April/2017 – Structure Fire – “A” Shift 

Incident # 17-02375 – A fire heavily damaged a residence at 17721 Round O Road Saturday morning 08-April. At 08:16 Fire-Rescue was alerted to the incident with the caller reporting flames coming from the window of the home. Engine 19 arrived to find light smoke coming from the singlewide mobile home. The occupant had used a garden hose and several buckets of water to knock down the flames which gutted one bedroom, extended into the hall and damaged a second bedroom. Firefighters used one handline to overhauled the room and remove the remaining burning materials. The fire started on a bed in the center bedroom. All occupants were able to safely exit the building and no one was injured. Fire units were on the scene for approximately an hour.

Engine 9, Engine 19, Tender 9, Tender 19, Tender 32, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 27, Car 109 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
